Our Tool
The District Heating Decision Support Tool is the final deliverable of our project. This was developed in Microsoft Excel in the process of formulating our calculations and results.
The tool allows the user to create their own district based on the type and age of housing they wish to look at it. It also allows for other parameters to be changed such as the buy and sell price of fuel and the requirements of their bank loan.

***DISCLAIMER*** This tool was developed as a secondary deliverable for the project, we believe it is a useful resource for public consumption but should not be used as a stand alone decision support tool for district heating.
Some outputs on the matrix are not dynamic/responsive to user inputs, this is either because we believe the marks do not change from our investigation or, in the case of cost, it is impossible to determine wether or not the capital investment calculation is "good" or "bad". Therefore user judgement is needed
